Rates and Services
Initial Consultation
Upon completion of all relevant forms, we will schedule a free initial consultation to meet with you, review any special instructions, and collect your house keys. More importantly, we will meet with your pets, taking the time to get to know them so that they feel comfortable when we return. Depending on the services required and how many pets you have, initial consultations can run anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
Rates
Pet Sitting
$20 per visit for one dog or up to 2 cats.
$5 for each additional dog or cat.
THROUGH AUGUST 31st: Every 6th visit is free!
Dog Walking
$20 for up to 2 dogs.$5 for each additional dog.
MONTHLY RATE: Pay in advance and save 20%!
Services
Pet Sitting
Each pet sitting visit is between 30-45 minutes long. Longer visits of 60-90 minutes can be arranged for an extra fee upon request.
A normal visit includes:
* Play time! Why should your dog or cat miss out on their favorite toy and/or game just because you are out of town?
* Potty and exercise time. If you have a yard, we'll let your dog outside to potty and weather permitting, to stretch their legs, too. Or, if you prefer, we'll take your dog on a walk.
* Replenishment of food and water as needed.
* Litter box waste removal for cats. Including changing the litter as needed, and sweeping up or vacuuming the floor around the cat box on a daily basis.
* A quick look through the house for "accidents". Not that there should be any, but pets can sometimes get a bit nervous or upset when mom and dad are away, and may protest in the form of an "accident."
* Medication Administration. (Certain "complicated" medications may incur an additional fee)
* Brushing as required. (Long-haired cats and dogs may incur an additional fee)
* TLC. Sometimes, pets just need more than food, water, and exercise. We schedule our visits so that we are not rushed. We have very good "animal instincts" and get a vibe for when a pet needs a little extra care. If your pet needs extra-time, we'll be there.
* Writing in your pet's daily journal. We keep a daily log of your pet's activities and ours, so that you can see all the fun we had while you were away.
* Making your house look lived in. We rotate the curtains and turn the lights, television and/or radio on and off. No one will suspect that you have left town.
Dog Walking
Your dog will enjoy a nice 30 minute walk, freshened water, and (if allowed) an organic, all natural dog biscuit on our way out courtesy of Lucy Goo. Our furry clients love this routine!
Fish and Small Animals
$15 per visit, flat rate.Whether your pets swim or spend their time on a treadmill we will be there for them, too.
Additional Services
For a nominal fee of $2 per day, we will also...
* Poop scoop your yard. (If you have dogs.)
* Bring in the mail and newspapers.
* Water all indoor and outdoor plants.
* Take the trash and recycling in and out on the appropriate day. We always wash any pet food cans that are used in order to be recycled. If you don't recycle, we will take all recyclable products used while you were away with us.
For an additional $10, we will happily bathe your dog.
Overnight Pet Visit
$95 for first the night. $75 for each night after. Do your pets and home require someone to watch over them for the evening? Overnight visits include all services listed above, including a bath for your dogs (if desired).
Holiday Rates
There is an extra charge of $5 per day (not per visit) for pet sitting on the following holiday...

* July 4th
* Labor Day
* Thanksgiving
* Christmas Eve
* Christmas Day
* New Year's Eve
* New Year's Day
Cancellation Policies
We prefer to collect payment in advance of our first visit, but we also understand that life can take an unexpected turn every now and again, so if you need to cancel services for any reason, please contact us immediately. We typically retain a small portion (20%) of the agreed upon fees to cover costs, but will make exceptions in understandable circumstances.
